Strategic Mortgage & Equity, Inc., a licensed
Mortgage Brokerage Business and your best location

in Naples, Collier and Lee Counties, throughout Florida and
several other selected states.
Working for our clients. Mortgage
Brokers provide about 70% of all residential mortgages. As
brokers we are truly able to work for our clients
instead of a particular Bank or Lender. In fact as brokers
our job is to evaluate the credit characteristics,
objectives and desires of a borrower; together with the
specific property type; then apply this information
alongside our vast knowledge of loan programs and
underwriting guidelines offered by the 50 plus Banks we work
with. By continually researching this wide variety of
Lenders and product types, we are able to provide
competitive mortgage financing for both the easiest and most
difficult loans…and everything in between. Generally we can
accommodate nearly every niche that exists in contemporary
home mortgages today. We’re not
just here to sell you something…we work on your behalf!

About the Owner
My name is
Dave Surgeon. I started Strategic Mortgage & Equity out of a
desire to serve people. I truly love my profession and the
people I work with. I want to do what’s best for them…not
just do what pays me the best. Quite frankly, sometimes I
counsel people from obtaining a mortgage (or purchase).
Maybe it’s in their best interest to back off for a while
and to go forward would mean likely default. Most of the
time I serve my clients by educating them and providing
ideas and options – many of which they may not have
considered.
I enjoy
getting to know my clients; listening to their
circumstances, desires and dreams; and helping to develop
and explore strategies to accomplish their financing and
real estate goals.
My
ethics and values come from my Christian faith and
background; and from a father who taught me to work hard and
value the customer above all. I believe in providing
services to my clients next to none with professionalism,
competency and integrity. I strive to apply the golden rule
in all transactions.
Personally, I have a Bachelor degree in Business Management
and extensive financial experience. I have owned and
operated two small businesses for over 20 years. I am also a
licensed Realtor and although real estate sales is not my
business I keep up on all required continuing education as
well as changes in law and industry standards in both
respective fields. I genuinely believe the real estate and
business experience helps me to be a better Mortgage Broker.
